Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai SPOILER ALERT 14 January 2024: Abhira Runs Away From Home, Armaan-Ruhi Worry; Vandana Saves Former From Goons
Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Homnukhe, and Shivam Khajuria in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. Today’s episode starts with Kaveri telling Abhira that the girls from the Poddar family can’t study or work outside. Abhira reminds her that she had said in an interview that girls must study. She tells her that the Poddar house is a cage for the girls of the family. Kaveri tells her that she will not be allowed to study or work and that she should focus on the Makar Sankranti preparations. 

Armaan asks Abhira why she had to go talk to Kaveri when he had promised her that he would talk to her. Abhira reminds him how he was unable to help Charu and question how he would have helped her. Ruhi asks Abhira to stop it and reprimands her for making Armaan’s life difficult. She tells Abhira how Armaan is being scolded by the family members because of her. Ruhi schools her and tells her that even she is a feminist but that doesn’t mean she behaves rudely with the elders. After much back and fourth, Abhira says that she will not let anyone come between her dreams. 


The next morning, Abhira prepares everything for Makar Sankranti festival. Ruhi and Armaan wonder about Abhira helping with the preparation. Armaan and Abhira do the puja, and he tells her that he will help her achieve her dreams. Later, Armaan reads Abhira’s letter and realises that she has run away from home. A worried Armaan tells Ruhi that she must look after the family members as he goes out and searches for his wife. A media person records Abhira searching for a hotel to stay and runs the breaking news that Kaveri has thrown Abhira out of the house. Armaan searches for Abhira. Everyone gets shocked after seeing the news. 

It is also seen that as Abhira is roaming, a few goons tease her. Vandana comes there and beats them up. Armaan also reaches there. He and Abhira start bickering as she refuses to back home. Armaan takes Vandana and Abhira home, where Kaveri and Pammi praise each other’s daughters-in-law. Abhira informs about her plan to Armaan and Vandana. As the media questions why Abhira had left home, she tells them that she wanted to be independent, but then she realised that Kaveri was right. The media appreciates Kaveri. In the upcoming episode, Ruhi gets jealous seeing Abhira and Armaan flying kites together.
