Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Homnukhe, and Shivam Khajuria in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. Despite introducing the new generation of the show, the makers have failed to impress their audience. In the last few episodes, it is seen that Dadi is left upset after Abhira leaves home without informing anyone. Ruhi gets jealous after seeing Abhira and Manish bond.

Today’s episode starts with Dadi refusing to have food and telling Vidya that should control Abhira. Dadi gets angry after seeing Abhira step foot in the house. She stops her there. Abhira expresses her remorse and tells Dadi to punish her for leaving home without telling anyone. Dadi tells her that as a punishment, she will be standing outside the door. On the other hand, Armaan consoles Rohit as the latter is sad for stealing his older brother’s client. As the brothers talk it out, Rohit gets Kiara’s voice message stating that Abhira has been punished. Sanjay interrupts them by asking them to come meet the clients. 


While Armaan gets busy, Ruhi offers Abhira some water. Ruhi tells her to drink water and eat something. Abhira tells her that she shouldn’t be helping her as it will make a bad daughter-in-law. After witnessing this, Dadi gets more angry and shouts at Ruhi and Abhira. Abhira tries to protect Ruhi but fails. Ruhi and Abhira are bother made to stand outside the house. To pass the time, they decide to play a word association game. They start getting closer to each other. As Abhira says love, Ruhi quickly answers Armaan. Armaan and Rohit reach the Poddar house just in time. When Abhira questions Armaan, Ruhi distracts her by stating that him and Rohit have come home. 

Inside the house it is seen that Kajal, Manisha and Vidya try their best to convince Dadi to not punish Abhira and Ruhi any longer. After much persuasion, she calls them both inside. Rohit, Armaan, and Vidya take care of Abhira and Ruhi, who are hungry and dehydrated. In the upcoming episode of the show, it will be seen that Armaan suggests Abhira to wear something comfortable for the reception party. As Abhira wears traditional clothes from Mussoorie, Dadi gets angry.
