Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Homnukhe, and Shivam Khajuria in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. Today’s episode starts with Armaan asking Kaveri how he failed the test. She tells him that instead of three things, he brought four things, including his and Abhira’s marriage certificate. This leaves Abhira shocked. Kaveri tells Armaan that the day he married Abhira, he chose her. Calling Abhira a bad omen, Kaveri tells Armaan that she needs to leave to protect the family. 

Dadi goes on to say that since Abhira is Armaan’s responsibility, they both need to leave the house. It is then seen that Manoj stands against Abhira and Sanjay supports him. Manisha however comes ahead to support Abhira and disagrees with her husband. Seeing this Kajal taunts her, and expresses how she is unhappy with Armaan leaving. Sanjay asks them to understand that Armaan leaving will be a good thing as Manoj and Krish will get more opportunities. Manoj refuses to replace Armaan. Back at the Goenka house, Manish gets shocked after knowing Kaveri’s decision to throw Abhira out of the house, however, Suwarna supports the decision. He asks her how she can act so heartless, to which Suwarna says that Abhira and Armaan were ruining Ruhi’s happiness. Manish is stunned after knowing that Suwarna is happy with Kaveri’s decision. Armaan refuses to the leave house. As Kaveri closes the door, Armaan starts banging on it and threatens to even break the door. Abhira, Krish, Aryan, and Manoj try to stop Armaan as he might hurt himself, but he stays adamant trying to talk to Kaveri. Abhira confronts Madhav and Vidya, she questions Kaveri’s love for Armaan. As Vidya blames Abhira for everything that happened, the latter points out that Kaveri should have thrown only her out of the house and not Armaan. As Abhira asks Madhav and Vidya to support Armaan, Ruhi consoles the latter. He tells her that he won’t be able to handle separating from his family. Ruhi suggests him to leave Abhira and choose his family, the latter overhears this. Abhira and Armaan recall their past and the former asks him to leave her if he wants to be with his family.

In the upcoming episode, Armaan tells Ruhi that she was leaving because of him. Ruhi asks him what he has decided. As he tries to dismiss the question, Abhira too comes there and demands to know what his decision was. Dadi questions Kiara about where she took Ruhi. When Kiara tells her that they had gone to her friend’s Holi party, Dadi mistakenly slaps Abhira. She later taunts Dadi about losing her family. If reports are to be believed, Rohit, who was earlier presumed to be dead, will soon make his return. This will bring a new twist in the budding relationship between Armaan and Ruhi. It will be interesting to see if the new twists in the show impress the audience or not.
