Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami and many more in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. In the last episode, it was seen how Abhimanyu and Abhir’s death leaves Akshara devasted. 

Today’s episode introduces the new generation of the show as the makers take a leap of 22 years. Akshara is seen driving her car while listening to the advertisement about her hotel on the radio. As she reaches her stop she calls out for her daughter Abhira, who is introduced with a song. Abhira rushes towards her mother and gives her flowers. Abhira goes on to tell her mother about her views on love. Akshara gets excited that her daughter might want love and romance in her life, Abhira goes on to tell her that romance is just a trap set to snatch dreams from girls. As the mother-daughter duo leave, they stop by to give some kids a life. As the episode continues it gives the audience a glimpse of Akshara and Abhira’s life. 


It is seen how Abhira gets a bit emotional as witnesses a girl bringing food made by her grandmother. She shares her grievances with Akshara stating how she wishes, even she had a huge family. When Akshara tells her that she is her family, Abhira states how all her relations are tied only her. Next Armaan Poddar and his family are introduced in the show. Living in a joint family, the lovable lawyer, who wins every case, plans with his family to go to Mussoorie for his Dadi’s birthday. He inquires about the same at Akshara and Abhira’s resort.

In the upcoming episode of the show, it will be seen that Abhira scolds Armaan. He books the resort and she apologises to him. Manish meets Abhira for the first time. Armaan saves Ruhi from falling and gets mesmerised by her looks.
