Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s ongoing plot sees Akshara and Abhimanyu fighting for their son Abhir’s custody

Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra, Shreyansh Kaurav, Jai Soni and Karishma Sawant, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is certainly one of the longest running serials on Indian television. Having started the show with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, the Rajan Shahi production is now focusing on the third generation. The current plot of the serial focuses on Akshara and Abhimanyu’s rocky relationship and them fighting for custody of their son Abhir.
In the previous episodes it was seen that Akshara, Abhinav and Abhir return to Kasauli, however they are unable to reach Abhimanyu as he was away on a medical camp. It will be seen how as soon as reaching Kasauli, Akshara will start a homestay business. After announcing her decision Abhinav and Abhi will help her decorate the house for their first guest. When asked about their first renters details, Akshara will reveal that it is a person from Denmark named George, which will turn out to be Abhimanyu. While Abhir will express his joy at seeing Abhimanyu again, Akshara will ask her ex-husband why he is staying in her house. The duo will be seen getting into a heated argument after Abhimanyu demands her to tell him the reason behind bringing Abhir back to Kasauli without informing him. He will insist on bringing Abhir back to the Birla house. Abhir, who had gone to bring cake with Neelamma, will overhear this and ask them why they are fighting. Abhimanyu reiterates that he will be bringing Abhir back home. Amidst all the fighting, Abhir will get to know that Abhinav is not his real father but Abhimanyu is. Now, according to Telly Chakkar, Abhir will get upset after learning the bitter truth. Even though Abhinav has a special place in his heart, Abhir will hesitate to call him ‘Papa’.
