Well, if the recent buzz is to be believed, Mohsin Khan is quitting the show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. A few days ago, The Times Of India reported that since the daily soap is gearing up for a generation leap, Mohsin does not want to play an older character. Hence, he plans to quit the show in order to try out different mediums like OTT and movies. The news came as a big shock for all YRKKH fans. They are so upset that they are now requesting Shivangi Joshi to quit the show with Mohsin.

#NoShivinNoYRKKH has been trending on Twitter since morning with netizens and fans saying - “No Sirat Without Kartik.” Many of them opined that since both the actors started their journey together on the show so it should be ended together. One of the fans tweeted, “Mohsin & Shivangi these two are the only reason that we connected with show since 5 years We can't support the show if none of them are part of it. You guys started this journey together so its should be ended together as well. @momo_mohsin @shivangijoshi10 PLEASE IT'S A REQUEST.”

Earlier, TOI quoted a source close to the development as saying, “Yes Mohsin is planning to move on. Since the show is going in for a generation leap, he wouldn't want to play an older character. So he decided to take a short break. Along with television, he would now want to try out different mediums like OTT and movies.”
