The Coronavirus pandemic has brought our lives on a standstill with every possible plan getting either cancelled or postponed; be it trips, marriages, birthdays or any occasion for that matter. Something similar happened with Yuvika Chaudhary's ex-boyfriend and FIR actor Vipul Roy, whose marriage with his US-based fiancée Melis Atici has been pushed ahead due to the deadly outbreak. In an interview with Bombay Times, Vipul revealed that they were supposed to finalise the date and venue in March; however, the pandemic happened.
He said, “We were planning to finalise the wedding date and venue after she returned from the US in March. In fact, we had already finalised the court marriage date. Her entire family was planning to fly down to India, but unfortunately, the pandemic has changed everything,” the actor added how they are regularly keeping in touch through video calls. “We are regularly in touch through video calls and often, both of us break down. We were together for seven months in Mumbai before she left,” said Vipul.
He added, “Ever since we first met, we have never been apart from each other for so long, having said that, we have no choice except accepting the situation.”
Upon being asked what is keeping the couple busy these days, Vipul added, “It is good that she has her own IT company and keeps busy. The lockdown gave us an opportunity to upgrade ourselves sitting at home, and both of us pursued an online course from a US university. I have also been penning some scripts. Hopefully, things will soon turn normal and I will get to see her again.”
