Your weekly dope on the ongoing TV shows. Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Mohammad Nazim-starrer Saath Nibhaana Saathiya moved up by 2 positions, Star Plus retains top spot
It’s good news
for Saath Nibhaana Saathiya fans. For, the show has registered an improved
performance in Week 19 (May 5-11). The sitcom which stood at No. 9 in Week 18
(April 28- May 4) has moved 2 positions and now, is at No.7.

You may recall
that the show did not feature in the Top 10 in Week 16 and 17. It shot back in
Week 18, however, it was scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Furthermore,
Karmphal Data Shani too brought a smile on its makers’ faces. In the week in
question, it found a place in the coveted list.

Up next, The
Kapil Sharma Show moved further up on the leader-board and acquired the 13th spot.
The weekend in question had Sunidhi Chauhan and husband Hitesh Sonik on May 6 (Saturday), and Irrfan Khan on May 7 (Sunday). Surprisingly, the viewership of the former
was higher.

You may note that
despite The Kapil Sharma Show’s improved performance, Sony (the channel on
which it is aired) continues to be at the 5th position. In Week 19 too, it ranked just
above Life OK and &TV.

The rest of the
leader-board did not show a striking change. Naagin 2 was the most watched show
on television. Kumkum Bhagya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little
Champs and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki occupied the 2nd, 3rd and 4th slots respectively.
