Bigg Boss 14: Shardul Pandit Says, 'My Life Was Over, Thank You To The Makers For This Second Chance'- EXCLUSIVE
TV Actor and anchor Shardul Pandit is inside the house, as he entered as the recent wild card entrant. Before he went inside the house, we spoke to him about the show and more. Here's what he had to say
Shardul Pandit, who has worked in a few TV shows like Bandini, Kitni Mohabat Hai and Siddhi Vinayak and also hosted the famous Box Cricket League too, has also been a host on 9XM Music channel. And now, he is inside the Bigg Boss 14 house.
Before Shardul entered the house as a wild card entry, a few days back, we spoke to him about the show and what are his plans about playing the game. Excerpts from the conversation:
How did you get convinced for Bigg Boss 14?
They didn't had to convince. In fact, I am very thankful to Bigg Boss that they gave me this show. I had reached the stage in my life, where my life was over. Meri zindagi khatm ho chuki thi, main Mumbai chhod chuka tha. I was going through a phase where there was no question of makers convincing me for it. They helped me by giving me a second chance.
Are you ready to face controversies?
Nobody is ever ready for it. But yes, you sign up for it when you opt for the show. Jab aap is ghar mein jaate hain to bahar kab kya chal raha hoga kisiko pata nahi hota. Kisi kuch keh diya hoga kuch tweet kar diya hoga so vo controversy ban sakti hai. I am aware of it. So, all I can say is jab jo hoga dekhenge.
Have you planned any strategy to play the game inside?
No strategy. I feel Bigg Boss is such a huge platform that whatever strategy I plan and go with, others who are already staying inside, may strategize more and fail my stratergy. The only strategy I have right now is- 'Dil Se Khelo'. I will react to the moments as I don't feel you can go with this much planning and plotting.
Who will you miss the most inside?
My nephew, who is four and half years old. My mother and of course my sister.
What have you packed in your bag?
Nothing special just clothes and shoes.
Salman Khan keeps a close tab on contestants. Are you feeling intimidated with that?
No! In fact, I am very happy that India's biggest superstar is watching me. I am very excited that Salman bhai dekh rahe honge mujhe, aur kya chahiye life mein? If I will do something wrong he is definitely going to scold. But what I have observed in the previous seasons is that if you are not right he tells you that you are going wrong. And if you do right, he appreciates also.
Which household duty are you dreading the most?
Bathroom.
How are you planning to keep calm inside the house?
In the past we have seen that the people who have not kept the calm are the ones who have been the most loved contestants of Bigg Boss.
You think the reality show will help you bring out your real self to the world?
One thing that I like about the show is people see everything. I am going with no agenda. I just want to show- this is me.
