It's been nearly 7 years (from Jan 7, 2013 to be precise) that someone is enjoying the attention on Twitter to the tune of infinity. And this happens every year, when Colors' Bigg Boss, produced by Endemol, has a run every year. Yes, we are talking about The Khabri account whom every journalist envies because he/she outpaces them, more often than not, in most things that matter regarding the show.
We tracked down this Khabri and we called him up, almost instantly after our top source whispered his/her identity in our ears about his identity. We were told that his name is Sameer Malik and lo! He identified himself as Sameer Malik and instantly agreed that yes, he's indeed The Khabri.
Baatein hui and the conversation, or call it an interview if you like, went ahead rather smoothly. Malik did not beat around the bush.
Excerpts from the conversation, but before that we asked his permission if we can go ahead with this piece:
Your identity has so far remained concealed. It's been nearly 7 years...
Nobody asked me who I am. Zaroorat hi nahin padhi.
Your name is Sameer Malik, right?
Yes.
Where do you stay?
Andheri.
How do you get so much news from the Bigg Boss house and how are you so bang on?
Mere kuch bande Bigg Boss mein kaam karte hain, unke through pata chal jata hai (obviously he wasn't telling us their names!)
Are you so fond of Bigg Boss kya?
(Laughs) I started it for fun. My followers on Twitter increased a lot. One thing led to another and I started doing it more and more.
Who do you think will win the on-going season?
I think it's Sidharth Shukla vs Asim Riaz. It's between these two.
Shehnaaz Gill not running a hot race?
Hmmm... nope. She may end up in the Top 3, but won't win. Or maybe, she will be amongst the Top 5.
Rashami Desai?
Not the winner. Like Shehnaaz, she too will be in the Top 5.
Sidharth or Asim? an extra inch for whom?
Abhi toh Sidharth Shukla lag raha hai. It's 55 Sidharth, 45 Asim. Also, Sidharth enjoys a larger fan base.
Do you endorse the content of Bigg Boss? Gaaliyaan, jhagde...
This time it's too much. But you see, the TRPs are higher this time.
Even higher than the time of Shilpa Shinde and Hina Khan?
Yes. That time it was 2.1, now it's between 2.4 and 2.5. The general feeling is that the frequent content of fights has brought about the spurt. So, it is being said 'karne doh'. Pehle you needed tasks for contestants to fight, abhi toh without tasks they're fighting.
Of course, I don't endorse any physical violence. Sidharth and Asim did indulge in that.
Do your followers blindly trust you?
They trust me for news, but if and when I give my opinion they many times don't agree.
And you're also trolled?
Yes.
Like for one, currently I haven't supported Sidharth much on Twitter because he was abusing in the show. The Twitterati, in return, are abusing me.
Do they say you're on Asim's side?
Yes. And sometimes, they even say, I am on Rashami's side.
Your family doesn't get worried by such trolling?
They don't know that I do this, besides my work.
What's your profession?
I am a ciivil engineer, working in a private firm. Actually, hum do teen jan hain, my cousin is also into this. Sometimes he tweets it for me if Twitter is not on hand.

Who's going out next?
Expecting a mid-week eviction. Vishal Aditya Singh was in danger zone but has managed to pull up his socks. It should be either Arhaan Khan or Madhurima Tulli. Even Shefali Bagga is equally weak.
