TV star Devoleena Bhattacharjee is locked inside the controversial house Bigg Boss 13. The actress was seen bursting into tears after she missed the opportunity to become the First Queen of the house. Another contestant Shefali Bagga who cast her vote in her favour, eventually led to Bigg Boss scrapping the thing. Naturally, Devoleena's mom Anima Bhattacharjee, is glued to the show- and we spoke to her on the whole matter, few hours ago. THe lady was in a mood to talk even beyond the First Queen imbroglio.
Excerpts from the conversation:
How much are you missing Devoleena?
I am missng her a lot. The fact that she'll be staying away for three months from me and won't be able to connect from any medium already made me very emotional when she disclosed that she has decided to participate in Bigg Boss 13. And now whenever I see her crying on the show, I can't control myself. I wish I was there to console her.
How much do you wait to see Devoleena on-screen?

Don't even ask. You will find me sitting in front of the TV screen or Voot all the time. I don't miss anything where I get even a glimpse of her. I am in front of my TV set much before the show actually starts.
In yesterday's episode we saw her breaking into tears after she didn't become the Queen of the house?
It was equally heartbreaking for me; she deserved the title. But kya karein? It was all on voting and everybody can't have the same opinion as mine.
Shefali Bagga was the reason behind....
Yes I know that. But honestly she is also here to be in the game and become a winner. So, I don't want to do a blame game. I just want everyone to play fair. I believe if you're good, no harm will be caused to you.
Is Devoleena going right on the show?
Absolutely. In fact, let me tell you here that a very nice thing happened to her on Day 1 itself when was assigned Kitchen Duty. Cooking is her hobby. Being a busy actress, she still used to take out time and make many dishes at home. She is extremely good at that and ironically she has been assigned Kitchen Duty. It's going well for her until now.
What dishes does she make?
Everything--- but her speciality is in Pulav, Biryani and then there is one Bengali sabzi made from moong dal and lauki. You must eat when she makes; she is too good. She is also good at making kheer, halwa and cake.
Who according to you is a friend to Devoleena, until now?
Rashami Desai, the way she is taking care of her is lovely. Whenever Devoleena breaks down, she is there on her side to console her and sometime even explains her how to control her anger.
In the first episode, we saw you saying that you want your daughter to find a partner inside. Anybody in your mind that fits the bill?
Not really, and let's not forget that marriage is a life-long commitment. Baad mein koi pasand aa jaaye to pata nahi, but filhal to koi nahi nazar aa raha.
Who do you think can be Devoleena's arch-rival as the show proceeds?
Honestly, nobody knows what's going in anybody's mind. So, I just pray Devoleena stays alert and concentrates only on her game. Because today, someone who is a friend to her might turn out to be an enemy the very next day. Yeh khel hi aisa hai.

I keep praying to God that Devoleena should win Bigg Boss 13- but without hurting anyone.
