Vikas Guppta has lost out on two more friends- Divya Agarwal and Varun Sood. We spoke to Divya in detail about what exactly went wrong between the couple and Vikas. Here's what she elaborated on the issue

Another friendship in tellytown has gone kaput. Divya Agarwal and Varun Sood, who were once close friends of Vikas Guppta, are no more in talking terms with him. It's been almost a year since the couple have broken all the ties with him. 

Well, this piece of news definitely came as a shock to us and we called up Divya to talk about it. The actress was vocal about her decision and reveals what exactly went wrong in their equation with Vikas?

Excerpts from the conversation:

We hear  Varun and you are no more friends with Vikas Guppta?
Yes, you have heard it right!

You guys were thick friends, what went wrong suddenly?
There was a time when I used to feel that he was suffering. I used to feel really bad that people are misusing him for work. I tried my best to be with him and explain that we should learn to move on. But the only thing he used to discuss in return is negative about the people of what they have done. Also, whatever projects we chose, they used to be gibberish as per him. 

Like? 
When Varun and I decided on our music video, Naam Ada Likhna, he was signed in his company Lost Boy productions. The moment we informed him about it, he started yelling at us saying, 'ye kya gana hai? kaisa label hai? How dare you agree to do it?' We said yes for the song because we liked the song, not thinking if it is big or not? Will it manage to get views? We didn't even charge for Naam Ada Likhna. 


So, was this the only reason to part ways?
Actually with time, I realised that he indirectly used me to talk against Priyank especially in Ace Of Space. When I came out of the house and saw the episodes, I realised that he abstracted things out of me to put him down. I am not saying I never had issues with Priyank, I obviously had issues but it could have been avoided in the show. 

Vikas Guppta recommended Varun and you for Ragini MMS Returns?
Yes, recommendation was there by him but after our Ace Of Space journey- we as a couple got really popular. But that offer didn't come from him. He was asked by the makers about us and he shared good reviews. That doesn't mean he got us work. No matter whatever suggestions and recommendations people give until and unless you are not good at your job nobody can get you the role. He tried his best to put Chetna in Ragini.

We hear that you had a fallout with him on the Ace Of Space 2 set. What exactly went wrong there?
That time many media articles came where people wrote, "Divya Agarwal left the set out of anger" but let me today take the opportunity to clear what exactly happened that night. So, the day I was called for the shoot by Endemol, I had just got discharged from the hospital as I was down with dengue that time. But I said yes because they told me you are the winner of last season and we want you to come for the episode. I reached at 7pm in the evening as per my call time with my team which included my manager Esha, Ali my friend who was also in Love School, my hairdresser and stylist Ada Malik, who is daughter of Anu Malik. Also, my makeup artist had a shoot the next day. I had blocked all of them for 3-4 hours. At 9 pm, I see Chetna Pande and Rohan Mehra coming in with Vikas. I thought they were also here for promoting their show or something. I was ready with my silver gown to roll and around 2 am he comes to my vanity and says Chetna will enter with you on the show. And I was like why? Either we would have been very good friends in the show or she would have been the second finalist. We had no such link. Then adding to it he told me you two will enter the house as hotties from season 1 and there will be a guy who will choose one of you. And I was not ok with the idea as this wasn't the brief which was given to me when I was invited for the show. So I disagreed with him and spoke to Endemol people and to my surprise they too were also not aware about any such development. As it was Vikas' master plan. So, I got extremely pissed that if you want to loop in your favourites please do but don't involve others against their wish. The discussion went on till 5 am and he said that he is hungry and went to eat in his vanity van. So, after an hour when it was almost 12 hours of me and my crew waiting to start the shoot, I asked my manager to go and check on him. And when she went there in his vanity, he was sleeping. That's when I lost my mind and left the show in anger. Anybody would have reacted similarly, isn't it?

Parting Shot...
He is a great producer and he knows how to get content viral. He is good at grooming people at work and indeed a creative person but if he uses his talent and energy in the right direction then he may be way more successful then he is now.
