Jasmin Bhasin On Exiting Naagin 4, Sidharth Shukla Winning Bigg Boss 13 And Sejal Sharma's Death - Watch Exclusive Video
What was the reason of your sudden disappearance from Naagin 4?
I am sorry if the audience got disappointed with this but Naagin is a show which is full of twists and turns and my exit was one of those. When the show started, the first twist was that I (Nayantara) am the Naagin but eventually it wasn't me but Brinda (Nia).

So you knew since the beginning that you will not be part of the show for a long period?

How did you manage to keep it under wraps?
It was very difficult. In fact, I would say it was the most challenging part to pretend that I am the Naagin not only on the show but in real life also. But think of it,  I enjoyed doing that.

So can we expect you to come back in the season?
If they call me why would I say no. I was very lucky that Ekta Kapoor choose me to be part of it. And if I am required, ok with the story and not have any other commitments I would definitely like to do a comeback.

Ekta Kapoor is recreating some of her old shows. Any one show Jasmin would love to be part of?
I have always  been a die heart fan of Ekta Kapoor's love stories which she has made, whether its Kavyanjali or those she made for Sony TV.. So if she recreates or produce any other such, I would love to be a part of that.

We saw you supporting your friend Sidharth Shukla during Bigg Boss 13. He managed to win the show, how does it feel?
It feels great and I congratulated him.  I could understand his journey.

Did you two have a celebration?
Not yet, but whenever we meet we will.

Will we ever see Jasmin in Bigg Boss?
Jasmin in maamlo mein bahut duffer hai. To stay in that house one should know how to be sharp and intelligent in planning strategies. But I am not a person who can do all these. So I really don't find myself as a fit contestant for Bigg Boss.

After Khatron Ke Khiladi, any other reality show on your mind?
, I would love to be part Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, or any cooking-based reality show where celebrities are participating as a contestant.

Are you a good cook?
Not really, but I love cooking!

Have you learn't dancing?
I haven't learnt dancing. In KKK,  I explored that I can do stunts. With Jhalak, I may get to explore that I can dance well.

By the way, I would like to explore other platforms as well- OTT and movies.

So you want to do films now?
I am very much content with TV. But if something interesting comes up in Bollywood space, then why not? But I will do a movie only when I am sure that I will be able to do justice to the character.

What kind of roles are you expecting then?
Stars who have already made big in movies are not in a position to expect or demand a role, then how can I?

So, are you saying that surviving in the industry has become difficult for actors?
Touchwood. I have been lucky that I am constantly getting work. Television is not easy as it require some discipline. A lot of people suffer from health issues, out here.

Your friend Sejal Sharma ended her life due to lack of work?
I don't think she was depressed due to lack of work. I got to know later it had something to do with her boyfriend- which again I am not very sure about. Unfortunately, she is not with us anymore.

Did you tried to find out the real reason then by connecting to her family?
I didn't because the loss has already happened. And aise mein main unko call karu poochu, it would be something very mean. So I just wish that her soul rests in peace. I am not strong enough to call and talk to her parents.
