Lock Upp: Vinit Kakar On Poonam Pandey Age-Shaming Him On The Show; 'Agar 40 Plus Isko Buddha Lgta Toh, Yeh Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan Ko Kya Bolegi’-EXCLUSIVE
In an exclusive interview with us, Vinit Kakar talks about Poonam Pandey calling him a ‘pervert and 40 plus aged buddha’
Vinit Kakar, who entered 'Lock Upp' as a wildcard contestant, on Sunday got evicted from Kangana Ranaut hosted reality show. On Judgment Day, Kangana had expressed her disappointment with Vinit’s performance and took a dig at him saying the term ‘eat, sleep and repeat’ was created for him. She also called him an 'underperformer' during tasks and the weakest player on the show. Vinit also made headlines after Poonam Pandey called him 'tharki (pervert)' as she said he told her multiple times that he has watched her videos.
Now, in a recent interview with SpotboyE, Vinit Kakar has opened up about his eviction, Poonam calling him 'tharki' and age shaming him on the show. Talking about his elimination, the actor said, “My eviction was quite evident. I was somewhat mentally prepared because I entered the show with a disadvantage, I entered in the 5th week and by then everyone has already made their alliances, and connections so it was difficult for me to make new connections. This was the biggest disadvantage that I had. And, then after losing a task, I knowingly become inactive in the game.”
When asked about Poonam Pandey branding him as ‘40 plus aged buddha,’ Vinit Kakar explained, “Now, I just laugh about it. I remember when I entered the show, I told Poonam that we are friends on Facebook, I told this to her because I think she was unaware of this. I said it in a very neutral way that I have seen you 4, 5 videos on Facebook. There were no wrong intentions in it. But, I don’t know why she went to the camera and started saying such nasty things about me. “It was wrong and useless on her part to call me 'tharki' and 40 plus buddha. Agar aap 40 plus wale ko buddha bolte ho to, aap Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, who are in their 60’s inhe kya bolege. I want to know Poonam, Salman and Shah Rukh ko kya bolge. Yeh sab meko neecha dikhane ke liye bolega gaya hai. Maine kisi bi larki ko uss angle se nhi dekha hogya because meko 1% bi interest nhi tha kisi bi larki mai,” he further stated.
Vinit Kakar also mentioned that Azma Fallah, Poonam Pandey, and Shivam do not deserve to win Lock Upp. He thinks Anjali Arora chances are quite high to win Ekta Kapoor produced show.
Vinit concluded by saying that his biggest takeaway from Lock Upp would be he will never ever participate in a reality show as a wildcard.
