Mohita Shrivastava Mourns The Demise Of Close Friend Divya Bhatnagar: 'Was Not Ready To Accept That She Is No More'- EXCLUSIVE
The shocking demise of TV actress Divya Bhatnagara, who was all of 34, has left her family, friends and fans shocked. We spoke to her good friend, Mohita Shrivastava about the unfortunate incident.

How was your bond with Divya Bhatnagar ? How did you know her?
I met her on the Shoot of Preeto- my first show. That time only she met me with her open arms and positivity. Since then we became good friends. I have very few friends in industry. She was one of my selective friends. My bond with her has always been very good. She was happy and congratulated me for Baavle Utaavle and I was happy for her success.

It must have been heartbreaking to hear about Divya...
It was shocking and depressing to know that she got admitted and was on ventilator. I got stunned by the news of her demise. I was not ready to accept the fact. It just broke me. I don't have words to express how I felt that time.

Do you still feel that it's not safe to go out for anything?
Yes, we all should be very careful and cautious and should take proper precautions when we go out. I still remember my conversation with Divya during this difficult time. I still have her voice notes, the way I said, "Tu bahar jana bhi mat" because she had a BP issue."

Are you scared/sceptical to shoot in this situation?
Yes obviously. Because it's not just about yourself but for your family also. We have to be responsible until we get a vaccine. When I hear about actors COVID-19 positive reports during shoot, it scares me even more.
