‘I’m Going Through Menopause, Need My Husband’: Sunita Ahuja Sets Condition For Govinda Amid Cheating Allegations

In a recent vlog on her YouTube channel, Sunita Ahuja openly addressed the ongoing rumours about her husband Govinda’s alleged infidelity and the strain it has put on their long marriage of nearly four decades. Ahuja acknowledged that a relationship built over 38 years isn’t something she can discard abruptly, but she made it clear that her forgiveness hinges on one major condition — that Govinda changes his current lifestyle and begins living by her standards.

Speaking candidly, Sunita called Govinda her “childhood love” and said, “You never know. He is my childhood love… If he changes and lives according to what I believe is right, I will forgive him. I don’t want to hear everything in the news.” Her remarks underscored her pain over public scandals and her unwillingness to tolerate further disrespect.

Ahuja also highlighted her concerns about younger women allegedly pursuing older stars for financial reasons, a trend she finds harmful to family structure. She pointed out that at Govinda’s age — 63 — there should be a sense of responsibility towards their children, urging him to focus on familial duties instead of courting controversy. She added, “In your youth, even I partied and enjoyed life, but there is a time for everything.”

Sunita spoke about her emotional state, saying that the continuous media attention is difficult to handle, especially as she goes through menopause, a phase in which she feels the need for support rather than pressure.

Govinda, meanwhile, has responded to the rumours in previous interactions with the media, labelling the situation a “conspiracy” and defending his conduct throughout his long career.
