Ace Tennis Player Rafael Nadal All Set To Marry His Longtime Girlfriend Mery Perello
After being in a rock steady relationship for 14 years now, ace tennis player Rafael Nadal is finally taking the plunge by tying the knot with his girlfriend Mery Perello on October 19, 2019, in Majorca, Spain. The ceremony will be attended by 350 guests including some of the major retired tennis players as well
Ace tennis player and currently on world no. 2 rankings, Rafael Nadal is all set to take his wedding vows with his long-term girlfriend Mery Perello on October 19, 2019, at La Fortaleza in Majorca, Spain as per reports in dailymail.co.uk. It is reported to be a lavish affair taking place in Majorca, with the who’s who from the Tennis world attending it. The guest list includes retired world no. 1 tennis players Juan Carlos I and Carlos Moya who are confirmed to be attending the wedding nuptials. It is also reported of these two eminent personalities to be arriving in a helicopter.
Adding more to it ace Chef Macarena de Castro has been brought on board to put together a lavish and lip-smacking menu for the guests. The wedding ceremony is said to be attended by 350 guests. According to Rafael Nadal’s Wikipedia page, the duo has been dating since 2005. Also as per reports in Mirror.co.uk., the duo was engaged last year in May in Rome. Mery is said to be a private person and worked in the field of Insurance until she met the Tennis star.
She later joined the Tennis player’s charity foundation that came in picture 10 years ago. Mery is said to be Rafa Nadal Foundation’s project director.
The duo dated for 14 years, before they decided to take the plunge. The Spain venue picked by the duo for their wedding nuptials is owned by Conservative party donor Lord Lupton. This British La Fortaleza was one of the shooting locations for the spy thriller, The Night Manager.
