Actress Dimple Hayathi Booked After Househelp Alleges H@rassment: Assault And Attempt To Record N*de Videos

Hyderabad police have registered a case against film actress Dimple Hayathi and her husband David after their house-help, 22-year-old Priyanka Bibar from Rayagada, Odisha, accused them of harassment, assault, and abuse. Priyanka arrived in Hyderabad on September 22 through an agency called Sri Sai Goodwill Service and joined their household in an apartment in Shaikpet the same day.

In her statement, Priyanka claimed she was repeatedly humiliated, denied proper food, and subjected to verbal abuse. Among other insults, she alleges Dimple said, “Your life is not even equal to my shoes.” Fighting escalated on September 29, Priyanka says, when both Dimple and David allegedly abused her, threatened to kill her parents, and David snatched her phone while she tried to record the altercation. He is also accused of smashing the device and attempting physical assault. In the struggle, Priyanka says, her clothes were torn. She managed to escape and, with help from her agent, approached the police.

Priyanka further alleges an attempt was made to film nude videos of her. Based on her complaint, the Filmnagar police have filed cases under Sections 74, 79, 351(2) and 324(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). To date, Dimple Hayathi has not issued any public response to these allegations.

Aged 27, Dimple made her acting debut in the 2017 Telugu film Gulf. She later appeared in Atrangi Re (2021), directed by Aanand L. Rai, where she played Dhanush’s ex-fiancée Mandakini. Her filmography also includes Ramabanam, Veeramae Vaagai Soodum, Khiladi, Eureka, Gaddalakonda Ganesh and Devi 2.
