The year 2020 is proving to be quite a difficult year for everyone. The world is already fighting a war with the Coronavirus, and the sad news doesn’t just end there. Over the last few months, we heard tragic news of several celebrities and known personalities passing away. Now, after the heartbreaking death of Sushant Singh Rajput, and 16-year-old Siya Kakkar, an 18-year-old TikToker has died by suicide. According to a report in Times Of India, the girl was from Delhi University and had a huge following on the video platform TikTok.
The report in TOI states that no suicide note has been found from the young girl’s room, however, it is being speculated that the girl may have taken the drastic step after TikTok was banned in India. The girl’s body was discovered from her room by her cousin, and was then reported to the authorities. According to the report, a few sources close to the family suggested that the girl had been living with depression for the last 2-3 months.
A few days ago, Siya Kakkar, a 16-year-old TikTok star died by suicide in New Delhi. She was also quite popular on the platform, and her sudden, untimely death left her fans shocked. TikTokers and fans of Siya took to their social media to express their grief and mourn her demise.
