Alien-Like Wild Creature Spotted In US? Mysterious Four-Legged Animal Captured On Camera As It Stolls At Night In The South Texas Park-SEE PIC
Wildlife is full of mystery and Texas state park officials are scratching their heads, in an attempt to identify a “mystery animal” that was caught lurking around the Rio Grande Valley area at night. The mysterious and unidentified creature was even captured on camera and several pictures featured it boasting four legs and a rotund-like body shape, as seen in an image shared online by Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park in Mission, Texas, about 245 miles south of San Antonio.

However, researchers are having a difficult time understanding what kind of animal it is. A few social media users speculated that it is a “an opossum crossed with a raccoon,” a “badger,” or maybe even a “chupacabra.”

But, the researchers do not seem to be convinced by the social media user’s speculations.

A picture of the same was shared by ‘Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park - Texas Parks and Wildlife’ and wrote, “Captured on game camera - a mystery animal lurking in the Rio Grande Valley! 📷🌲 We're scratching our heads trying to identify this elusive creature. Is it a new species? An escapee from a nearby zoo? Or just a park ranger in disguise? 🤔 Regardless, it's thrilling to see such an incredible animal in its natural habitat. The page continued, “Edit: Wow, this photo has got a lot of attention! We agree with most of the comments that this is very likely an American Badger (not to be confused with the Honey Badger that lives in Africa and Asia and is rumored to not care very much). To clarify, this photo was taken by a park visitor and we do not have an exact location where this photo was taken, except it was indeed in the RGV. While American Badgers are not commonly seen in the valley (partly due to their nocturnal behavior), this is part of their natural range. #MysteryAnimal #GameCamera #WildlifeEncounter #rgv #txstateparks #betteroutside Photo of an animal walking at night.
