Amber Heard Accused Of Copying Johnny Depp’s Looks, Actress' Wardrobe 'Mind Games' Revealed, Fans Call It ‘Next-level Creepy’
Johnny Depp’s $50m defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard has sparked endless discussions about the former couple’s chemistry. Now, the Aquaman actress is being targeted for allegedly ‘copying’ Johnny Depp’s courtroom outfits with social media users noting multiple similarities between their ensembles and hairstyles in the actor's defamation trial against his ex-wife.

The former couple has been embroiled in a legal battle in recent weeks with each day shelling out a barrage of new allegations.

The Virginia trial will determine if a 2018 op-ed penned by Heard — in which she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse and sexual violence — defamed Depp. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star has vehemently denied allegations against him as he seeks at least $50 million in compensatory damages and a punitive award of at least $350,000, along with attorneys' fees and court costs.

The ongoing trial is being criticized by the media and is being analyzed by thousands of fans across the globe.

One of the most significant observations was that the two stars were seen wearing similar outfits each day. Some are convinced that Heard is mirroring Depp's courtroom outfits in order to "play mind games" on him. As noted by the Daily Mail, Depp was seen wearing a Gucci tie with a bumblebee design on the first day of the trial.

Two days later, on April 13, Heard wore a very similar tie with a bee on it. The newspaper also noted how Depp had worn a gray suit for the first day of the trial, before Heard was seen wearing a formal ensemble of the same color to the courthouse on April 12. On April 18, Depp pulled his long hair back into a ponytail, and Heard had her long locks styled in a similar way the next day, reported Meaww.

Meanwhile, social media is ablaze with discussions around Depp’s and Heard’s outfits. While many have claimed it to be just a mere coincidence, many believe the opposite.

“The way amber heard is copying Johnny’s looks is really like next-level creepy," one Depp fan tweeted. "Amber Heard is so scared of Johnny Depp that she keeps copying him. Last week after JD wore a bee tie she wore the same one. Yesterday JD had his hair tied into a ponytail and guess who showed up with a ponytail today. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp," another wrote.

"The fact that amber heard was copying Johnny Depp's clothing and hair plus looking at him every second in trial.. proves how psychotic and obsessive she is," someone else added.

"Amber Heard needs to stop copying how Johnny Depp dresses and combs his hair... we already know that she is obsessed with him and daily eats him with her eyes but at least her fans should see this and accept that the woman is a psychopath," a comment read.

"She's playing mind games with Johnny and she thinks this whole thing is a play. It's what she is, batshit crazy. She makes Jan from the Office look like Mary Poppins," another offered.

Some also accused Heard of hypocrisy after Depp's sister Christi Dembrowski testified in court last week that the 'Aquaman' actress denigrated her ex-husband's sense of style. "It’s very rich of Amber Heard to tell Johnny Depp “you don’t have style” considering she’s been copying his court outfits," one fan commented.
