Sania Mirza was left shocked when her rumoured ex Shoaib Malik, friends and family threw her a surprise party after she returned home from her last grand slam game
Being one of the most sought-after couples, Indian tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik have been making the headlines for their troubled marriage and alleged separation for quite some time now. While the duo has not officially commented on the rumours spreading around their relationship, Shoaib alongside their friends and family, arranged a surprise party for Sania after she returned home to Dubai from her last Grand Slam game.
Taking to her social media handle, Sania shared glimpses of the party and expressed how she was actually surprised by the gathering hosted for her. In the video, it can be seen that once she enters her house, every guest welcomes her with enthusiasm. After greeting and hugging her friends, she hugs her rumoured ex tightly, who is standing with a bouquet of exotic flowers for her, as he says, “Welcome home.” Sania also shared a picture where she can be seen cutting a cake with her son Izhaan Mirza Malik. Sharing the pictures and videos on her Instagram, Sania wrote, “When you come home to this and realize you have the best friends and family in the world. My Dubai Fam. Thank you guys. Ps : For a change I was actually surprised.” However, it is to be noted that she didn’t mention or tag Shoaib in any of her posts.
On the other hand, Shoaib had earlier taken to his Instagram account to hail his wife for her achievements. He had written, “You are the much needed hope for all the women in sports. Super proud of you for all you have achieved in your career. For the unversed, Sania and Shoaib got married in April 2010. The couple welcomed their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, eight years later. It is being heavily rumoured that Shoaib Malik cheated on Sania with model Ayesha Omar. Their intimate photos from a photo shoot went viral on social media, with many wondering if Ayesha was the reason behind the couple’s split. Last year, UrduFlix announced a reality show, The Mirza Malik Show, starring Shoaib and Sania. As soon as the show's poster was released, netizens concluded that their separation rumours were a sham and labelled it a 'publicity stunt.'
