Anupamaa SPOILER ALERT 23 December 2023: Anu Gets Robbed In US, Sleeps On The Street; Dimpy And Kavya Get Emotional Thinking About Their Sacrifice
Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Apara Mehta, and Gaurav Khanna, the show tops the BARC weekly ratings. It enjoys a huge fan base on social media as well, however, the ongoing track of the show has left the audience with mixed reactions. In the last few episodes, after a 5-year leap, it was seen that Anu receives the shock of life after knowing that the restaurant she was supposed to work at closed down. 

Today’s episode starts with Anu following an unknown man after he promises to show her a cheap hotel for her to stay. She tells him about having very little money. He tells her to follow him and takes in a narrow alley, telling her that it is a shortcut to the cheap hotel. She follows him and is shocked to see his partners who are all robbers. Despite trying her best to defend herself and call for help, Anu loses her bag with money, passport and visa along with a clothes bag. The robbers run away leaving a crying and devastated Anu, grieving over a trolley bag the robbers couldn’t take. As the snow starts falling, she regrets coming to the US. 


Back at the Shah house, during the havan, Vanraj thinks that he is sacrificing all his old relationships so that he only lives for the betterment of Samar’s son Ansh. While Baa prays that Vanraj gets more rich, Dimpy and Kavya grieve. As the former grieves staying in the cage of her in-law’s expectations, the latter gets emotional thinking about living away from her child. Babuji, on the other hand, expresses how he feels suffocating living there. He hopes Anu gets the success that she deserves. 

It is then seen that a man comes near Anu intending to steal her chain, however, she runs away from there and sleeps on the street. In the morning, Anuj arrives there on his bike and starts talking on the phone. He states that he has been doing business there for 5 years. He then proceeds to help an elderly woman, who blesses him. Just as he leaves, Anu wakes up and she collides with a lady, whose bag falls. Anu helps her gather her things and gives it to her. Thirsty, Anu asks a lady guard if she can work at the restaurant and have a glass of water. The guard humiliates her for not having money and shoos her off. 

As Anu finds a bottle of water fallen on the groun, she sees a policewoman and recalls Devika telling her to keep her passport and visa with her at all times. In the upcoming episode, the policewoman asks Anu to come with her as she doesn’t have her passport and visa.
