Arbaaz Khan Beams With Joy As He Takes Newborn Daughter Home From Mumbai Hospital, Marks First Public Appearance

Bollywood actor-producer Arbaaz Khan made a poignant first public appearance on Wednesday (October 8) outside Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, carrying his newborn daughter and flashing a joyous smile before taking her home. His wife, makeup artist Sshura Khan, was not present at his side, and the baby’s face was kept shielded from cameras. 

The couple had welcomed their first child together on October 5, although they have yet to formally announce the birth on social media. In the video posted on Instagram by a paparazzo, Arbaaz is seen cradling his daughter and briefly posing for photographers before getting into his car with her. 

Earlier, in June 2025, Arbaaz had spoken about Sshura’s pregnancy, calling it an “exciting phase” in their lives. In an interview with Delhi Times, he shared, “I am getting into fatherhood now after some time. It’s a fresh new feeling for me all over again. I’m excited. I’m happy and I’m looking forward. It’s just giving me a new sense of happiness or responsibility.” When asked how he intended to be as a parent, he said he didn’t want to fit into any particular category — he simply wants to be “a good parent.” 

Arbaaz and Sshura tied the knot on December 24, 2023, in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family in Mumbai.  Sshura, who works behind the scenes as a makeup artist for stars including Raveena Tandon and her daughter Rasha Tandon, has largely stayed away from media attention. 

Previously, Arbaaz was married to actress-model Malaika Arora; they married in 1998 and divorced in May 2017 after 19 years together.
