Aryan Khan To Launch His Own Vodka Brand In India! Announces His Business Debut With Slab Ventures- DEETS INSIDE
Aryan Khan, who announced his debut in the entertainment industry, is all set to launch his alcohol brand in India
Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son Aryan Khan took the entertainment industry by storm when he announced his debut as director and scriptwriter last week. Taking a step forward in his career, he has now announced his venture into entrepreneurship. He along with his friends have launched a premium vodka brand in India, D’YAVOL. Interestingly, D’YAVOL translates to devil.
According to Mint, Aryan, Bunty Singh and Leti Blagoeva will also be venturing into the brown spirits market later. They have tied up with the world’s largest brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) for distribution and marketing purposes. It is being said that their vodka will be a “a single estate liquid made in Poland from winter wheat.” ALSO READ: OMG! According to Mint, Aryan, Bunty Singh and Leti Blagoeva will also be venturing into the brown spirits market later. The publication went on to report that the 25-year-old and his business partners met in Germany in 2018. There they discussed the gap in India’s premium and luxury goods and services market. Talking about the same Jr. Khan told Mint, “We thought there was a kind of a void in the current space. And when there’s a void, there’s an opportunity, and I think businesses are all about opportunity.”
If reports are to be believed, the target audience for Slab Ventures, their company, will be affluent consumers of the country. They are then planning to diversify with other premium consumer segments, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, apparel, and accessories. Aryan said, “The thought was to kind of combine high quality, a youthful disruptive vision, and cool aesthetics, and bring it under one roof, and by doing that, appeal to the more mature, discerning consumers as well as the younger generation.”
Talking about Aryan’s debut as a filmmaker, it is being said that Aryan will be making his debut with a thriller series that is all set to go on floors next year. For the unversed, Aryan is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s eldest son. He completed his graduation from the University of Southern California. His sister, Suhana Khan too is all set to make her debut in Bollywood as an actress with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ alongside Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor.
