Assamese actor Kishor Das Passes Away At 30 After Battling Cancer, Actor Even Suffered From COVID-19: REPORTS
Assamese actor Kishor Das passed away at the age of 30. The actor succumbed to death after having lost a long and hard battle with cancer while he was receiving treatment in Chennai.

As per the latest DNA report, Das was receiving treatment in Guwahati for a while before he moved to Chennai in March last year in hopes for better treatment and advanced care. If we are to go by the reports, he even suffered from COVID-19 and passed away due to its complications. 


Kishor Das was regarded as one of the most essential artists of the Assamese entertainment industry and his untimely death just at the age of 30 has sent tremors across the entire nation. Over the years, the actor has also amassed a sizable fan base. 

Meanwhile, messages from around the globe - from his co-stars, family, friends and fans - praying for peace for the departed soul and expressing shock have been pouring in.

For the unversed, Kishor Das,  an actor from Assam, was known to be an ace dancer, model, and TV personality.


Born in 1991, the actor has appeared in more than 300 music videos, with one of his big hits, Turrut Turut, becoming Assam's most popular video.

He is also well-known for his parts in the TV series Bandhun and Bidhata. He has also appeared in a number of short films. Kishor Das has also taken part in India's Got Talent and Dance India Dance.

The actor was the first runner-up in Model Hunt and received the title of Mr. Photogenic. Additionally, he received the Asianet Icon Award for Most Popular Actor in 2020–2021 and the Candid Young Achievement Award in 2019.
