After Bollywood’s Muskrayega India, Tollywood has come up with a new peace anthem Avirum Anbum written and directed by the legendary actor Kamal Haasan. This morning the song was launched virtually and a media press conference was hosted on a digital platform. Not only Kamal Haasan, other singers who have crooned the Tamil song are Anirudh Ravichander, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Devi Sri Prasad, Shankar Mahadevan, Shruti Haasan, Bombay Jayashree, Siddharth, Lydian, Andrea, Sid Sriram and Mugen.
At the press conference, the Chachi 420 actor spoke at length about shooting the song at their respective home. As his daughter and actress Shruti Haasan is also a part of the song, he appreciated her video making skills and said how not only the actress but also the entire cast of the song felt like a grand family. We asked Kamal Haasan how long did it take for them to record and if they faced any difficulty while shooting at home, at the press conference.
He said, “When asked about how different was for them to shoot the song at home, he said, “It all went too smoothly for me to even believe. Because I thought we just embarked upon it out of enthusiasm that was the first tool. But then within around 2-3 days everybody had completed their work including cinematography and bounced it off us. It is even difficult to even credit cinematography because so many people had worked in it. They all deserve the credit.”
He further added, “Some of them had their friends to shoot it, some did it themselves, Shruti shot the video, herself and it was astounding.
