Congress leader Baba Siddique’s, General Secretary of the Bandra Taluka, mother Razia Abdul Rahim Siddique left for her heavenly abode on Friday morning. Her grandson Zeeshan shared the sad news on twitter. While the details of her passing are being kept under wraps, the MLA’s son informed his followers the details of her funeral.
In a two-part tweet, Zeeshan Siddique, informed others of his grandmother’s passing and the details for her burial. He informed that her namaz would be held during on Friday night at 9 pm in Bandra and then her burial would be happening at 11 pm, in Bada Kabarastan, opposite Marine Lines Station.
He wrote, “*Inna lillahi wa Inna ilayhi raji'un* With Immense Grief and sorrow, We inform you that *Mrs. Razia Abdul Rahim Siddique*, Mother of Mr. Baba Siddique & Grandmother of Mr. Zeeshan Siddique has left for her Heavenly Abode. Namaz E Janaza - Today 9 pm after Isha Namaz at Maqba Heights, 15 A, Pali Road, Pali Naka, Bandra(W). Burial - Today at 11 pm at Bada Kabarastan, Opposite Marine Lines Station.”

Netizens immediately started pouring in their condolences, wishing Siddique’s mother’s soul rests in eternal peace. Journalist Faisal Malik wrote, “Inna lillahe wa inna ilaihe rajeoon! May Allah SWT rest her soul in eternal peace and grant her the highest place in Jannah.” Politician Saleem Sarang wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun !! A Grand mother is with us always, first in her lifetime, then forever in our memory. Allah unki maghfirat farmaye or ghar walon ko sabr ata kare 'Ameen'.”
