Baby Is On The Way: Sakshi MS Dhoni's Instagram Post During CSK vs SRH Goes Viral!
During the IPL 2024 match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, former CSK captain MS Dhoni's wife, Sakshi, made a notable appearance. Despite CSK's recent setbacks, including consecutive losses to Lucknow Super Giants, the team bounced back impressively, securing a resounding 78-run victory over SRH, limiting them to a mere 134 runs in 18.5 overs. ALSO READ: Shah Rukh Khan CHEERS For Rishab Pant During DC Vs KKR Game! In a heartwarming moment captured during the match, Sakshi Dhoni took to Instagram to share a sincere request with the CSK team. She urged them to swiftly wrap up the game as she awaited the arrival of her niece or nephew, as her sister-in-law was in the early stages of labor. Sakshi's post quickly garnered attention on social media, featuring a clip of MS Dhoni keeping wicket, accompanied by the caption: “Please finish the game fast today @chennaiipl baby is on the way...contractions have begun. Request from - to be 'Bua'!”

It appears Sakshi's plea resonated with the CSK squad, as they delivered a clinical performance with the ball, spearheaded by pacer Tushar Deshpande, to secure a commanding victory. Earlier in the match, CSK's captain Ruturaj Gaikwad showcased his batting prowess, falling just short of a century with a blistering 98 off 54 balls, laying a solid foundation for his team's imposing total of 212 for three. Supported by Daryl Mitchell's 52 and Shivam Dube's unbeaten 39, CSK cruised past the 200-run mark. Even Dhoni, the crowd favourite, contributed with a brief cameo, scoring five runs off two balls.

In response, SRH struggled to counter CSK's formidable total, faltering under the pressure of Deshpande's early wickets and the middle-overs squeeze, ultimately succumbing to a total of 134 runs. CSK's victory not only ended their two-match losing streak but also propelled them to the third position in the points table, alongside Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, and Delhi Capitals, with 10 points each. Conversely, SRH slipped to fourth place after suffering their fourth defeat.
