Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's message about the Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2020, just left the students very excited
Outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic got many mega-events either postponed or even worse cancelled. One of these events was graduating of class 2020. Former US President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama in a video shared on the Youtube platform, has former president mentioning of holding a virtual graduation ceremony for the high school student to be graduating in 2020. Well the announcement must have got a little smile on the faces of the students. And wait for it as has a surprise too.
This virtual graduation ceremony will have a starry touch as well as inspiring touch to it. Celebration to be commenced in June 2020, will have celebs as Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and also Indian famous Vlogger Prajakta Koli, joining the ceremony. In the video which had the former president make this pleasant announcement talked about how the ceremony would have been in the absence of the global pandemic, whereas on the other hand he also encouraged the youth by preparing them for the future.
He is heard saying in the video, “Now I’ll be honest with you: The disappointments of missing a live graduation — those will pass pretty quick. If you’d planned on going away for college, getting dropped off at campus in the fall, that’s no longer a given. If you were planning to work while going to school, finding that first job is going to be tougher.”
