Ben Affleck Sets Major ‘Relationship Goals’: Shows Support For Jennifer Lopez With Kids As She Receives Icon Award At iHeartRadio Awards 2022

Ben Affleck has been setting ‘relationship goals’ as he was seen showing support for girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, brining his son Samuel and her daughter Emme to watch her accept the Icon Award at the 2022 iHeartRadio Awards.
The 49-year-old actor was accompanied by his 10-year-old son and Lopez's 14-year-old daughter Emme at the Tuesday evening event, held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
They looked proud as Lopez stepped onto the stage to accept the award in a stunning olive-green dress with a plunging neckline.
Meanwhile, Affleck sported a black-on-black look, donning a slightly-unbuttoned dress shirt under a black suit coat. He completed his look with black pants as he attended the event with his son and Lopez's daughter.
According to DailyMail, Lopez was presented the award by LL Cool J, who have collaborated on songs All I Have and Control Myself.
“I appreciate this so much, so very, very much. I wish I could tell you that awards were the most important to me, but that's not true. And don't think that I don't appreciate the shiny, sparkly things, because I do!” Lopez began.
“I cannot lie, everybody knows that I do. But this isn't why I do this. It's not what matters most to me. I really do it for you guys,” she added.
Addressing her legions of fans, Lopez said, “I get to do what I love the most in life and that is the most wonderful blessing. That's a gift that you give me and I just want to say thank you for that. Thank you to everyone who comes to a show, streams a song, sees a movie, follows me.”
“You guys are the ones who give me the opportunity every day to live a life I couldn't even imagine would come true when I was a little girl growing up in the Bronx,” Lopez said of her roots.
She added “You did that for me. You made that dream come true. I'm shaking! And I will always be grateful to each and every one of you for that.”
“And I will never forget it, and I will never, ever take it for granted. So I want to say thank you to every one of you for believing in me when other people didn't, even when I didn't. Thank you for teaching me who I really am,” she said.
Before wrapping up her speech, she offered a new acronym for the word icon: “I can overcome negativity,' concluding, 'Let me tell you something else. I'm just getting started.”
Affleck and Lopez dated from mid-2002 to early 2004 and were engaged to be married before calling off the engagement. The adorable couple re-kindled their relationship in April 2021, with Lopez confirming they were back together in July 2021.
Lopez also shares Emme's twin Maximilian David Muniz with her ex Marc Anthony while Affleck shares Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, with his ex Jennifer Garner.
