Bengali actress Madhumita Sarcar undergoes surgery to remove her appendix
Bengali actress Madhumita Sarcar has recently undergone surgery to remove her appendix. In the wee hours of Monday, she was rushed to a hospital when she suffered intense pain in her stomach on the sets of the upcoming movie 'Chini 2'. The doctor advised her to get an appendicectomy without any delay and thus Madhumita got admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata for the surgery. She is currently at home recovering from the surgery.
In an interview, Madhumita opened up about her health complication ad shared, “I had an appendicitis operation this morning. For the past few days, I was suffering from extreme pain in my stomach. I didn’t pay much attention as I was shooting for Chini 2. But from yesterday the pain was unbearable. At 3 am I was rushed to a hospital and today morning I went through surgery. The popular actress also posted a photo of her lying in a hospital bed on her Instagram handle and captioned it, “Something Acute happened.. cutely recovered.. thanks for your love.”
On the work front, Madhumita Sarcar has been busy shooting for her next project ‘Jaatiswar’. The movie stars Rohaan Bhattacharjee, Bidipta Chakraborty, and others. Apart from this, she also has the second season of movie ‘Chini 2’ in the pipeline. Madhumita has also appeared in several popular shows like Akal Bodhon Mahalaya, Sobinoy Nibedon, Bojhena Se Bojhena, Kusum Dola, and others. Her characters of Pakhi Ghosh Dostidaar Singha Roy in Bojhena Se Bojhena and Dr. Emon Mukherjee in Kusum Dola earned her a household name.
