Beyonce’s nephew and Solange’s son Daniel Julez Smith Jr does not seem to be doing well amongst netizens following his announcement of his entry into the music industry with a snippet on TikTok on June 4. 

However, he got on the wrong foot of the Internet after he brutally got trolled over his rap lyrics. The 17-year-old debutante’s video snippet has been going viral on social media got him over 100K views in no less time. 


For the unversed, Daniel Julez Smith Jr’s family background includes a long line of entertainers. His mother is a renowned singer-songwriter, Solange Knowles, whereas, Beyonce is his aunt who is one of the top global icons. Hip-hop veteran Jay-Z is Julez’s uncle and Grammy-award winner Blue Ivy is his first cousin. 

Daniel Julez Smith got trolled after social media users poked fun at him for having bad taste in music despite coming from a family that includes musical heavyweights. In the TikTok video, he can be seen sitting in the studio donning a hoodie and sunglasses.

The teen musician then raps over a loud beat spitting, “I had to pack that heat/She kept showing all the signs, but kept disturbing all my peace/I'm trying to feed the game to (N-word), but they always think it's sweet/Just like Future said a while ago, the feds just did a sweep/F**k the London drip, we gone get our clothes shipped out from Greece."


Soon social media users flocked Twitter to mercilessly troll Julez over his fresh snippet. “Slap this child. How is Solange your mother, Beyonce your auntie, JayZ yo Uncle and Blue Ivy your cousin and u put this out! There are 50+ grammies in your family, Julez!”, said one user as another posted, “His mom is SOLANGE! His auntie is BEYONCÉ! He gotta do better.” 

One user joked, “Solange please step in and put a stop to this.” The next one tweeted, “You don’t see King Combs tryna be a “hood” rapper. That (N-word) talk about fly s**t, money, and girls. Ya know stuff he can relate to. Like Julez you’re Solange’s son and Beyoncé’s nephew. You better rap about the cranes in the sky and lemonade.”
 


Meanwhile, one user tweeted, “Solange come get him because this is terrible.” Another individual said, “Nepotism babies, like this, piss me off. Money & connections just wasted. Lemme see if Solange is looking to adopt a 30 y/o. I don’t even need raising — I just want to be one of the family photographers on retainer.” 

Whereas, one asked, “How are you this talentless and shallow when your mother is Solange?” Another user mentioned, “I feel like solange wakes up every day hoping and praying that her son doesn’t embarrass her and he just fails miserably.” And, one concluded, “Solange is your mother, Beyoncé is your aunt, and Jay Z is your uncle and you want to talk about opps and feds doing sweeps? Daniel…”
