A recent TMZ report suggests that a suicide note was discovered by the police in the motel room where Steven’s body was found. The letter was an “ambiguous reference to his past challenges,” however, the report suggested that the details of the note are yet to be disclosed.

The TMZ report also cited the police who detailed the day before his death and stated that the freestyle hip-hop dancer and DJ left his house in an Uber on December 12 before arriving at the motel, which was not very far from his place.

Steven is reported to have kept his mobile on flight mode before taking his life. His body was first spotted by an employee of the motel before the cops identified it and declared that he died of self-inflicted gunshot injury.

Following his death, Stephen 'tWitch' Boss’ wife Allison Holker released a statement that read, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share that my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

“To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honour his memory,” she noted before adding, “We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”
