Britney Spears herself a 'rebel' and a 'free woman' while she reasoned her latest post which saw her daringly pose for yet another series of topless photos on a beach
Britney Spears is one of the most defiant pop stars of her generation and she has often stood as a face of a revolution. Now, she has decided to offer some context into the actual reason for her to strip off for a racy Instagram post.
The 40-year-old singer called herself a 'rebel' and a 'free woman' while she reasoned her latest post which saw her daringly pose for yet another series of topless photos on a beach.
“Alrightyyy then folks … showing my bod in French Polynesia as a rebel and free WOMAN !!!!!,” the entertainer added.
In the follow-up post that features a throwback picture of her on a red carpet in London for the 2002 premiere of the movie Crossroads, Britney told fans that her favourite makeup brand is Chanel. She wrote, “I've always been a frugal buyer…. If its absolutely amazing I will spend money on it but the way I was raised I've always been very conscious with what I spend”.
Asserting her statement with all caps, the singer called it 'this big letter thing' Britney revealed the picture she shared featured her wearing only Chanel makeup.
She said: “I'm sure there are a lot of other brands that can do the trick but I remember this one made me feel absolutely beautiful !!!! To the makeup artist who gave it to me … THANK YOU.”
The recent statement comes after Britney on Tuesday shared two posts to her Instagram grid featuring nudity, the next with a series of topless pictures. She then posted a video of herself writhing around in the ocean water with just her bikini bottoms on to the song Baby Did A Bad Thing by Chris Isaak.
As per the DailyMail report, Britney, and her fiancé Sam Asghari, are said to be staying at The Brando, a unique luxury resort on French Polynesia's breathtakingly beautiful private island of Tetiaroa.
A few days ago, Britney took to her page with a more tender post, sharing a video of herself admiring her engagement ring and Sam kissing her hand.
“May the birthday celebrations begin for my wonderful fiancé ... I love him so much !!! My hero ... my mentor ... my rock ... my bliss ... my love !!!' she wrote, adding, 'I hope you get everything and more for your birthday !!!”
Her beau commented on the post writing, “It's on the right hand because we don't follow rules!” referencing the placement of her engagement ring.
