CAA NRC Protests: Old Video Of Policeman Asking Shaktimaan For Birth Certificate Goes Viral
It has been almost a month since protests against CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) 2019, and NRC took place across the nation. Many people, including a few celebrities such as Farhan Akhtar, Swara Bhasker, Huma Qureshi and others, took part in the protests and raised their voice against the act. Now, an old video of Shaktimaan is going viral, and the clip shows Shaktimaan having to prove his citizenship, but he cannot because he has no documents. Many users on social media have shared this video, with their own take to it.

The video starts with Shaktimaan telling a cop that protecting national property is the right of every citizen of the country. That’s when another cop comes in and questions him about his citizenship. He asks Shaktimaan if he has a birth certificate, and asks him which city was he born in. He then asks if he doesn’t have a birth certificate, he must have a school leaving certificate, to prove he is a citizen of India. Swara Bhasker, who has been vocal about her opinion of the act, also reshared this Shaktimaan video.
