VMAs was steaming with some love, oh, it is because of Camila Cabello And Shawn Mendes' PDA session which was unmissable. The two were super cuddly and handsy during the broadcast. Even when the duo was called to receive an award, Shawn and Camila didn't kiss, despite being all lovey-dovey for the cameras. However, this caught some of the fans attention who couldn't hold back and trolled them for their pretentious love. 

Mendes and Cabello chose to walk the red carpet separately. When they performed Señorita on stage, they almost kissed but held back. Backstage too their personal PDA resumed, though, they held hands and cuddled. Nonetheless, despite their best efforts everything seemed quite scripted for the fans. Camila and Shawn actually won the award for Best Collab for their work on Señorita. When they went on the stage to accept their Moon Man, they kept their speeches super short, and Camila ended hers by yelling "Get wasted!" to the audience. 

Talking about their romance, the duo originally had started as a fling, and then it became more than just that. According to Entertainment Tonight, a source told them that "Shawn and Camila originally were just enjoying spending time together and having a summer fling. Camila had just got out of a relationship and Shawn was in the middle of a massive tour. But then they caught feelings," the source said. "Shawn and Camila have really fallen for one another."
