MP, actor Dev has been making headlines for controversial reasons. In a shocking turn of events, CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has summoned actor-TMC MP Dev in connection with the ongoing investigation into a massive cattle smuggling racket. The officers reportedly suspect that a major gang is behind this racket along the India-Bangladesh border in West Bengal.
As per reports, the CBI has asked the actor-politician to appear before the agency on February 15 at the Nizam Palace office in Kolkata. "Dev's name had surfaced several times during interrogation of those accused in the case," the agency said, via ThePrint.in.

The CBI had earlier questioned several persons, including Bikash Mishra, brother of Binay Mishra, a businessman allegedly involved in the racket. Reportedly, the agency had also also interrogated Enamul Haque, the prime accused of the case.
On the other hand, on the work front, Dev is currently enjoying the success of his last film 'Tonic'. The actor received a lot of love for his performance in the film. The Bengali family drama was released in December last year. Up next, he has 'Kishmish' in the pipeline. The rom-com will hit the big screens in April.
