The social media, at present, is buzzing with the controversies surrounding Ajaz Khan and Rangoli Chandel. While the former was recently arrested for his anti-national remarks during his Instagram live, Rangoli Chandel’s Twitter was suspended after a streak of Twitterati reported her for spreading venom on a certain religion. The duo has already been at the receiving end of criticism and hatred from a section of people on social media and, now, jumping onto the bandwagon is Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi.

Taking to his Twitter account, the veteran leader wrote how the level of poison in both Ajaz and Rangoli has increased and that even they should be tested for the same. He wrote, “लोगों में ज़हर का स्तर बढ़ गया है। कायदे से तो इसका भी टेस्ट होना चाहिए। #Ajazkhan #RangoliChandel (Poison levels in people have increased. Ideally, it should also be tested)” FYI, Ajaz Khan was arrested yesterday under several charges. ANI’s tweet read, “Actor Ajaz Khan has been arrested & case registered against him at Khar Police Station on charges of defamation, hate speech & violation of prohibitory orders."

Visuals of Ajaz Khan being arrested were all over social media yesterday and while most of the people supported this decision, there was also a section that turned out to be against it.

Rangoli, on the other hand, reacted to her Twitter account suspension by saying, “Twitter is an American platform absolutely biased and anti-India, you can make fun of Hindu Gods call Prime Minister and Home Minister terrorists but if you say anything about people pelting stones on health workers and Police forces they suspend your account, I have no desire of empowering any such platforms with my perspective and honest opinions, so I am not reviving my account, I was my sister's spokesperson now watch out for her direct interviews, she is a huge star she has many ways of reaching out, a biased platform can be easily avoided."
