In the ICC World Cup 2023, team India looks unstoppable as their fast bowlers are in top form and recently orchestrated Sri Lanka's downfall with just 55 runs on the board at the Wankhede Stadium. The team led by Kusal Mendis had no response to the match-winning performances delivered by Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Jasprit Bumrah. The exceptional bowling display by Indian pacers in the CWC 2023 seems to have stirred up a reaction among some former Pakistani cricketers. 

Hasan Raza, a former Pakistani international cricketer, expressed his views on a cricket show, suggesting that it "appears as if the ICC or BCCI provided Indian bowlers with new or unique balls" and raised the idea that "an investigation into the matter should be considered." He has alleged that the International Cricket Council deliberately provided distinct balls to the Indian bowlers, purportedly assisting them in achieving more seam and swing compared to other teams.

These comments come after team India is through to the semi-finals after a dominating victory over Sri Lanka. Netizens mocked the view and expressed their opinion on the matter. A user wrote, "i am surprised these pakis have not raised suspicion that BCCI is changing the pitches mid way especially when India fields." Another commented, "In logon ko vajah se kaum ki itni badnami hoti hai bahar. Ye kissa ab cricket ka nhi hai. Economy se leke science aur har jagah aise logon ne kaum ka beda gark kiya hua hai."


The veteran cricketer who was once involved in a spot-fixing controversy was brutally trolled by the netizens. Team India will next take on South Africa on the occasion of Virat Kohli's birthday at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on November 5. Anushka Sharma might show up at the match to support her husband VK for the ICC Cricket World Cup game.
