Truck driver whose vehicle was allegedly involved in the road accident that killed Deep Sidhu has been arrested
Recently, Punjabi actor turned farmer activist Deep Sidhu met with an accident. Deep was going from Delhi to Bhatinda in Punjab when his SUV in which he was travelling rammed a truck at 9.30 pm. He couldn't survive the fatal injuries. After the actor's demise, his brother Surjeet filed an FIR against the truck driver. The complaint was lodged under IPC Sections 279 (rash driving) and 304 A (causing death by negligence).
As per latest reports, the driver has been arrested by the police from Delhi Bypass. The accused driver has been identified as Qasim Khan, a resident of Singar village.
The truck driver was reportedly transporting coal from Ahmedabad to Muzaffarnagar at the time of the accident. SHO of Kharkhoda, Jaspal Singh said that during the round of questioning, the driver admitted that his negligence led to the incident. The accused will be presented to the court soon.

Post his demise, his girlfriend Reena Rai had shared a bunch of photos with him and penned an emotional note. She had captioned the now deleted post, "I'm broken I'm dead inside please come back to your soulmate which you promised me that you won't leave me in any lifetime I love you my Jaan my soul boy you are my heartbeat. As I was lying in the hospital bed today I heard you come whisper I love my Jaan I know you are forever with me... we are planning our future together and now you are gone. Soulmates don't leave each other and I'll see you on the other side Jaan #Truesoulmates."
