Dharmendra Health Update: Veteran Actor Discharged From Breach Candy Hospital, Family Urges Fans To Stop Spreading Death Rumours

Veteran actor Dharmendra has been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital and will now continue his recovery at home. He was admitted on November 10 after experiencing breathlessness. Doctors confirmed that he responded well to treatment and was cleared to leave the hospital in the early hours of November 12. 

In the face of widespread rumours regarding his health — including false reports of his death — Dharmendra’s family took a firm stand. His daughter Esha Deol posted on social media: “My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery.” His wife, actress-politician Hema Malini, addressed the media directly, calling the spread of unverified death reports “unforgivable” and described such coverage as disrespectful to both him and the family. 

Close family members, including sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, were present at the hospital during this period, underscoring the family’s united concern. Several Bollywood colleagues and friends also visited, expressing solidarity and goodwill. 

The film fraternity and fans alike have heaved a sigh of relief at the news of Dharmendra’s safe return home. In a joint statement, his family thanked everyone for their love and support, while requesting that speculation cease and privacy be respected. “Mr Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation,” the statement read.

As Dharmendra rests at home under his family’s care, the focus now is on his steady recovery — and on ensuring that the misreporting seen in recent days doesn’t overshadow the more important story of his improving health.
