The couple took off to Dubai for their New Year's celebrations and that's when he popped the question. Reports of Hardik Pandya and Serbian Model Natasa Stankovic dating were all over the internet. But little did we know that the two were so serious and will get engaged so soon. While on a trip to Dubai to celebrate New Year's, Hardik Pandya took his ladylove on a beautiful yacht ride and popped the question. He had planned it out. He had got a band to sing their favourite song, a cake, flowers and a beautiful ring. She said yes, and their happy pictures made it to Instagram. But hey, how can meme machines stay calm?

Yes, meme-makers replaced Natasa's pic with that of Ranu Mandal and the outcome is hilarious. Along with the picture, Hardik had also shared a video of him going down on his one knee and proposing Natasa. Thankfully, that video hasn't been ruined the meme makers.
Hardik had shared the pictures with the caption, "Mai tera, Tu meri jaane, saara Hindustan. 01.01.2020 #engaged." Natasa, on the other hand, shared the engagement news by saying, "Forever yes."
Post the news of Hardik and Natasa's engagement broke the internet, the cricketer's father in an interview stated that the family had absolutely no clue about it. Hardik's father said to Bombay Times, "Natasa is a very nice girl, and we have met her in Mumbai on a number of occasions. We knew that they were going on a vacation to Dubai, but had no clue that they were going to get engaged. This took us by surprise. We came to know about it after they got engaged."
