Dipika Kakar Says Monthly MRI Scans Are Now Part Of Life Amid Ongoing Health Battle

Television actress Dipika Kakar recently shared a health update through her YouTube vlog, revealing that she has been advised to undergo MRI scans almost every month to closely monitor her condition. As she continues to battle ongoing health complications, she admitted that these regular scans have now become a permanent part of her life, adding that she will have to “live with it.”

In the vlog, Dipika and her husband Shoaib Ibrahim spoke about her latest MRI reports. The actress revealed that the scans showed two tiny spots. However, doctors have reassured them that the spots are extremely small and do not require immediate treatment at this stage.

Sharing more details, Dipika said, “In the MRI, there are two small dots again, but they are very small. Doctors have said that taking any action right now will not be sensible. We will repeat the scan after a month. I think this is going to be a routine for us. We have to do very close scans.”

The couple further explained that these spots are so minute that they are not even visible in CT scans and can only be detected through MRI due to its higher sensitivity. This makes regular MRI monitoring essential in her case.

Dipika is currently undergoing treatment and is expected to begin immunotherapy soon as part of her recovery process. Along with the physical challenges, she has also acknowledged dealing with emotional exhaustion during this phase, while Shoaib has emphasized maintaining a positive environment at home.

Despite the difficulties, the actress continues to stay strong and keeps her fans updated about her journey, offering a glimpse into both the medical and emotional aspects of her ongoing health battle.
