In the promo shared, we can see the name of the director and the producer and in the end, we have Mohanlal's intriguing eyes staring straight at us. Drishyam was a story about a man trying to save his family by covering up a murder. It was one of the biggest hits then as it became the first Malayalam film to hit Rs 50 crore at the box office. Drishyam was also remade in Hindi in the year 2015 with Ajay Devgn playing the lead.

Talking about Drishyam 2, the shooting of the same is expected to begin as soon as the lockdown ends. Apart from Drishyam 2, Mohanlal is also working on a film called Ram with director Jeethu Joseph. However, it was recently announced by the director that the work on Ram has been put on hold. He stated that he'll finish the work on his other projects until the shooting of Ram begins.
