Facebook HACKED? Social Media Giant’s Breakdown Sparks Memefest On Twitter; Funny Memes and Tweets Go Viral-CHECK OUT!
Facebook seems to be the victim of a new type of bug that has resulted in various users noticing posts of random people tagging famous celebrities including Rihanna, Ronaldo and more.

A slew of users have reported the unusual phenomenon via their Twitter handles. But, if your feed hasn't been affected yet, there is no need to be surprised.

Meta, Facebook's parent company, told Newsweek it was aware "people are having trouble with their Facebook feed" but did not comment on what was causing the issues. The recent report quoted a spokesperson who apologized for any inconvenience, and said site engineers were "working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible."

Facebook users have used other social platforms to complain about a deluge of posts from fans of singers such as Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Harry Styles.

Nevertheless, Twitter is the best platform to vent it out!

Well, the social media giant’s meltdown on Wednesday has seemingly sparked hilarious responses from Twitter users and they have started sharing screenshots of their feed being flooded by posts that are addressed to celebrities they follow.

In no time, ‘#FacebookHacked’ started trending on social media and users haven’t been calm. From Will Smith to Elon Musk, netizens have used all possible ways to troll Mark Zuckerberg for his company’s breakdown.

The meltdown comes after META, reached a $54m settlement in the US after being accused of breaching user privacy. As per the reports, the case centred around an accusation the platform had been tracking the movements of users via their smartphones without permission.
