Faizan Ansari Offers ₹2 Lakh Reward Against Urfi Javed, Sparks Outrage Over Threatening Remarks During Ramadan Controversy

In an online feud, influencer Faizan Ansari has sparked widespread outrage after announcing a cash reward of ₹2 lakh for anyone who blackens the face of actor and social media personality Urfi Javed. The statement was made in a video posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account during the holy month of Ramadan, drawing strong criticism across platforms.

Faizan Ansari, who has previously claimed to be the first Indian influencer featured by American journalist Michael Dorgan in The New York Times, made the controversial remarks in a visibly agitated tone. In the video, he stated, “Now the water has gone over my head,” before adding, “I announce this openly: whoever blackens Urfi Javed's face—be it from Mumbai or anywhere else—will receive Rs 2 lakh in cash from me.” He further issued a disturbing warning, saying, “Even after your death, Urfi, I'll visit your grave, spit on it, and dare you to file an FIR. I'm not scared of you or your father.”

The influencer also made remarks about Urfi’s identity, alleging inconsistency in her statements about religion. “You claim you're not a Muslim, but your name is Muslim. As long as it remains so, I won't leave you alone,” he said, drawing backlash for the religious undertones in his comments.

The dispute appears to stem from longstanding tensions, with Urfi Javed—who rose to fame through Bigg Boss OTT—often making headlines for her unconventional fashion choices. While she enjoys a strong fan base, her public persona has also attracted criticism.

As of March 20, 2026, Urfi Javed has not issued an official response. Meanwhile, the incident has raised concerns about online harassment and potential legal consequences, with calls for stricter action against threats and incitement on social media platforms.
