In a shocking turn of events, five individuals were rushed to a hospital after finding themselves in a critical condition. The incident happened at a known restaurant in Gurugram, Haryana, where the victim had consumed a poisonous mouth freshener which led to them experiencing bouts of vomiting due to a burning sensation. Not only did this spark panic among the locals but the shocking video of the same has also surfaced on the internet, leaving netizens shocked.

As reported by the Free Press Journal, the individuals opted to eat the customary mouth freshener after they enjoyed their meal at the restaurant. Moments after consuming the refreshing mouth freshener, they began experiencing a burning sensation. This was followed by blood pouring from their mouths, which led to immediate concern. A netizen has shared the video on X with the caption, “गुरुग्राम के एक बार में माउथ फ्रेशनर खाते ही 5 लोग बीमार,खून की उल्टियां| (Five people fell ill after consuming mouth freshener in a bar in Gurugram, vomiting blood.)”


According to FPJ, the victims were swiftly rushed to a private hospital for urgent medical attention. If reports are to be believed, two out of the five victims are currently in dire condition. This highlights the severity of the poisoning. The reports suggest that the mouth freshener apparently contained a deadly acid. Confirming the same a doctor told Pipa News about the hazardous nature of the mouth freshener. He went on to add that consuming it could potentially be fatal. 

Netizens too have taken to the comment section of the post to express their shock over the matter. While many have sworn not to consume mouth fresheners again, some have tagged the police to look into the matter. Some even called out the incident to be a prank.
