On Sunday, the Ambani family hosted grand Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at their Mumbai residence Antilia, which was graced by the likes of many Bollywood biggies. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit were a few among others. The festivities were extra special for the Ambani family as it was the first one for their newly-married children, Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani. Well, apart from all the showsha, Nita Ambani’s delightful camaraderie with her future daughter-in-law and son Anant Ambani’s girlfriend Radhika Merchant, too, was among one of the highlights of the night.
In fact, the duo posed together for the paparazzi. In the picture, both Nita Ambani and Radhika Merchant, who were dolled up in some stunning ethnic attires, looked happy and excited, as they posed for the shutterbugs. And going by the looks of it, the mother-in-law and daughter-n-law surely share an amazing rapport. While Radhika was donning an embellished red lehenga from Shyamal and Bhumika, Nita looked elegant in a red Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla number. Take a look at their picture below.
Well, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s rumoured relationship came into the limelight after a romantic picture of them had gone viral on social media last year. Radhika is also a regular at all the Ambani events, in fact; she played a vital role in Isha Ambani’s wedding. Adding fuel to the fire was Shah Rukh Khan teasing the two at Akash Ambani’s wedding. The Zero actor asked Anant that on a scale of 10, what he would rate Radhika Merchant’s dance performance, to which he replied, “One million… infinity!”
For the unaware, Radhika Merchant is the daughter of Vice Chairman and CEO of Encore Healthcare, Viren Merchant. She is also a childhood friend to Anant Ambani. So, time for another wedding in the Ambanis?
