Gauri Khan Rents Apartment In Mumbai's Khar West For Staff At ₹1.35 Lakh Per Month: Report
Interior designer and film producer Gauri Khan has arranged separate housing for her staff while her famed Bandra home, Mannat, is being renovated. According to a rental agreement accessed via Zapkey, she has leased a 2 BHK (725 sq ft) flat on the 4th floor (Flat No. 6) of Pankaj Society, located in upscale Khar West, Mumbai. The move offers convenient proximity, being just 100 metres from Khan's temporary duplex.

The flat is rented from owner Sanjay Kishor Ramani, under a three-year leave-and-license agreement running from 10 April 2025 to 9 April 2028, beginning at ₹1.35 lakh per month with a security deposit of ₹4.05 lakh. The contract includes a 5 % annual rent escalation.

“Situated in one of Mumbai’s most desirable neighborhoods, Pankaj Society offers convenient access to city hotspots while maintaining residential tranquility—making it a sought-after choice for high‑profile tenants,” notes the Free Press Journal.

This arrangement ensures that household staff have comfortable and safe living quarters near the family’s temporary residence while Mannat undergoes renovation.
At the same time, Shah Rukh Khan has also moved to a rented duplex in the nearby Puja Casa building, on Pali Hill, Khar West, leasing two luxury duplexes totaling around 10,500 sq ft. The combined rent is approximately ₹8.67 crore for three years.

This relocation allows the Khan family—Shah Rukh, Gauri, and their children Suhana, Aryan, and AbRam—to stay together close to Bandra while Mannat’s renovation continues. The flat for the staff provides a thoughtful, nearby living space that aligns with the family’s temporary living situation during the renovation phase.
